Installation of false ceiling

Suspended ceiling installation is the process of installing a special metal structure that is attached to the walls and ceiling using special fasteners, and then covered with finishing materials such as drywall, stretch or gypsum boards.

Here are the main steps of suspended ceiling installation technology:

  1. Preparation of the room: the room should be prepared before starting work. This means that furniture, carpets, mirrors, and other items should be removed or protected with film.
  2. Measurement: precise measurements of the room must be taken to determine the amount of materials needed to install the suspended ceiling. Special attention should be paid to ceiling height to calculate the height of the metal structure correctly.
  3. Frame installation: the frame is installed around the perimeter of the room using special fasteners that are attached to the walls. Then, the suspension profiles are installed on the frame, which will hold the drywall or other finishing materials.
  4. Installation of main profiles: the main profiles, which will serve as support for the suspension profiles, are installed on the frame. They are attached to the frame using special fasteners.
  5. Installation of suspension profiles: suspension profiles are attached to the main profiles using special fasteners to support the finishing materials.
  6. Installation of finishing materials: after installing the metal structure, the finishing materials, such as drywall, gypsum boards or stretch ceiling, can be applied.
  7. Finishing and installation of lights: after installing the finishing materials, work should be applied to finish and paint the surfaces. Then, the lights and other equipment are installed.

The technology of suspended ceiling installation may vary depending on the chosen materials and structures.
